CURIEL Milano SS25: Nature’s Tribute

Milan Fashion Week is here again! In this vibrant city most of the power fashion houses have opened its doors for the worldwide fashion experts. One of my favourite brands that presents its new collection is Curiel, which is located in the most well know street in Milan, Via Montenapoleone.

The color inspiration for Curiel’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection captures a consciousness of a natural solace that comes from the most basic elements, including basic deep black and marble white, savanna green and brown, and even complementary aqua blue, shimmering goose yellow and cherry blossom pink.

Through innovative fabrics and craftsmanship, especially materials with exquisite textures, they interpret a new look of historical heritage. Using natural fabrics, combined with comfortable materials, they coexist harmoniously with nature, adapt to climate change, and protect nature at the same time. They see this not only as a source of aesthetic inspiration, but also the core of the design concept!

In this season, Curiel’s Ready to Wear, reconnects with emotions and feelings, and their historical legacy is revitalized in the process.

The Atelier capsule collection on the other hand, is tailored for the aperitivo moments of early summer and for all kinds of parties and events. Matteo Thiela continues his design language and savior-faire from the FW24 Albedo collection, skillfully combining them with Curiel’s exquisite craftsmanship to create a collection of limited-edition pieces that are both occasion-inclusive and unique.

He skillfully blends Italian couture fabrics such as lightweight metallic silk chiffon, silk velvet burnout, and organza with silk thread and sequin mesh, outlining soft and smooth lines, with minimalist silhouettes and refined structural designs.

These lightweight dresses resemble the warm, faint light of an early summer sunset and the stars in the sky, reflected on the surface of a lake in the twilight, shining with a charming shimmer.

The refractive effect of golden rays throughout the entire collection is derived from Matteo’s interpretation of summer romantic fantasy, with exquisite and elegant interpretation of urban women from day to night with multi-faceted style!
