Creating one iconic location is a task in itself following that up and trying to replicate that can be tougher than creating the original. Rock & Reilly’s created that iconic location on Sunset Strip and the recently opened version at USC Village, while having its own identity, would certainly make the Sunset Strip location proud.

Guinness along with great service from Emma

Ginger Smash

What you are going to find is a lot of the same nuances that made Rock & Reilly’s on Sunset Strip so iconic, from the cocktails to the food the spectacular service. While a Guinness goes perfectly so many of the Irish food items on the menu, Rock & Reilly’s has an amazing 24 beers on tap. The highlight of the bar has to be the creative cocktail menus well as the assortment of Reilly’s own whiskey that pours at only $5 per shot. A cocktail so perfectly refreshing that it was seemingly made to be enjoyed in Southern California, is the Reilly’s Smash. It begins with the very smooth Reilly’s Ginger Whiskey and then is finished off with lemon, agave nectar and mint, creating a tasting and refreshing cocktail that you could drink all day long. The Irish Rose comes in a martini glass and leans a little more towards citrus with grapefruit and rose vodka along with vodka and a floral hint from a chamomile syrup. If you love mules, Rock & Reilly’s does three versions which include: vodka, tequila and Reilly’s Mother’s Milk. At a mere $7 a drink, it is worth trying all three and deciding on your favorite.

Irish Nachos

When it comes to food Rock & Reilly’s not only has their tasty regular menu, but they have a plant-based menu with nearly all of the same items. The Irish Nachos are one of those appetizers that you simply must order every time you visit Rock & Reilly’s, they are that good. It all begins with the ultra crispy house cooked kettle chips and those are just smothered in Irish cheddar and topped off with applewood bacon, scallions and corn salsa, you can also add corned beef to truly take this over-the-top. One of Rock & Reilly’s classic dishes has always been their fish and chips with Alaskan Cod or you can go with the plant-based fishless and chips. There also an assortment of nicely done grass-fed burgers including the Dirty Irish, which contains Irish Cheddar and fried pickles or the truffle burger that is loaded with flavor from the black garlic aioli, truffle cheddar and truffle mustard, both on a fresh and soft potato bun. They also do an amazing four-cheese mac & cheese that is simply cheesey goodness topped with Irish soda bread crumbs and black truffle oil.  Some of the other great plant-based options include: buffalo cauliflower, Reilly’s Hot Chickn and they even do a plant-based Shepherds pie.
